The mission of the Children’s Services Council of Martin County (CSCMC) is to enhance the lives of the children of Martin County and to enable them to attain their full potential.
The 2021-2026 Strategic Plan of the Children’s Services Council of Martin County
The Children’s Services Council’s funding decisions are rooted in the current 2021-2026 CSCMC Strategic Plan that is updated every five years. Empirical data and grassroots community input serve to determine how Martin County’s children are faring in relation to prior county performance, state and national statistics and against industry benchmarks. Utilizing all data, the Children’s Services Council sets its funding priority areas and corresponding strategic investments. Together with many partners in the community, the Council is regularly examining the impact of the services it funds on the health and well-being of Martin County’s children and their families.
Needs Assessment and Strategic Planning Process by the Children’s Services Council of Martin County
The 2021-2026 Children’s Services Council of Martin County needs assessment and strategic planning process spanned a time frame of mid-2019 through 2020. Multiple activities were employed to initiate community-based organizations that work for the good of the children and families of Martin County, and contribute toward their development, well-being, safety, stability and success. Quantitative data*, as well as qualitative information contributed to the development of the CSCMC Funding Priority Areas and the impact-driven strategic investments that are presented within the 2021-2026 Strategic Plan of the Council. Together with many partners in the community, the Council is regularly examining the impact of the services it funds on the health and well-being of Martin County’s children and their families.
