Contract Specialist
Nicole King comes to CSCMC with a Master’s in Family and Child Sciences from FSU and 20+ years of experience in the Health and Human Services field. She began her career at the Florida’s Children’s Forum in Tallahassee as an Infant/Toddler Coordinator for the State of FL. Upon moving back home to Palm Beach County in 2000, she worked as a Program Specialist in the Early Care and Education Dept. at the CSCPBC. She came to Martin County in 2002 where she worked at what was then called the School Readiness Coalition. Eventually, in 2004 the CSCMC discovered her involvement with the Whole Child Project in PBC. In 2007, Nicole became the Executive Director of the Whole Child Connection in Martin County. After leaving the WCC in 2015, Nicole started an initiative called the Willow House, a program for Youth Girls who had been victims of trauma. After merging with Project LIFT, Nicole took a hiatus from the industry and worked for the City of Stuart. She is excited to be back in the fold of the Health & Human Services arena and says, ’Taking this position at CSCMC is like coming home’.
The Contract Specialist assists the Director of Program Operations in performing the program management activities of CSCMC. This position is responsible for administering assigned contracts for various programs and services, targeting children and families throughout Martin County. The position helps to ensure contract compliance and high quality program services.
